After a morning of chocolate, it’ll be no surprise when the kids are feeling energetic. Focus that energy and their restless hands on something creative with our DIY Easter projects.

What you’ll need:

  1. Coloured A4 paper and thin card
  2. Safety scissors
  3. Stick glue
  4. Coloured pipe cleaners

Instructions:

  1. Cut oval egg shapes from the thin card, these will be the base for the Easter eggs for decoration.
  2. Using the regular paper, cut long strips and roll them up into little cylinder spirals, which can then be glued to the Easter eggs as decorations. Kids can decorate the card eggs using the pens, paper, and glue with whatever design their imagination desires.
  3. Using the safety scissors, cut a small hole in the top of each decorated egg. Wrap a pipe cleaner through the hole, which will allow the kids to hang on a tree or a collection of branches, bundled from the garden.
  4. To make Easter bunny cards, fold a piece of thin card in half and then cut out a bunny shape from the regular paper. Glue this to the front and allow the kids to decorate with whatever colours and designs they are inspired by.
