Recipe Bacon And Parmesan Asparagus Recipe


  • 3 rashers shortcut bacon, diced
  • 1 bunch asparagus, bottom stems trimmed
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 tbsp finely grated parmesan cheese, divided


  1. Preheat oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
  2. Heat a pan over medium heat and add the bacon. Cook until the bacon just begins to crisp.
  3. Remove the bacon with a slotted spoon and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain.
  4. Place the asparagus on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Drizzle with a tablespoon of olive oil. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and toss with hands to coat. Sprinkle on 2 tablespoons of parmesan and all the bacon.
  5. Roast for 20 to 25 minutes or until the asparagus becomes golden and begins to crisp. Remove from oven and sprinkle with the remaining 2 tablespoons of parmesan before serving.
